i wont have to pay to fix it.... the crack can't be seen. If we put resin on the inside of the lip to cover the crack then sand it down do you guys think it will hold??

it's being painted now... can you put something on the inside that will hold it together and keep it from spreading??? you can't see the crack on the outside, its on the bottom side of it.

it was cheap so im not worried about getting another one... i just need to have it on tonight. I can always buy another one down the road... no biggie

ok thats fine. I'll get you to do that soon. The guy painting it gets the paint for free. He travels to different dealerships doing touchup work. Getting it painted again wont be a problem. When can you do this??

its fixed... the guy painting it melted plastic to the back of the crack. and bondo on the front. he said the crack is completely covered and can't be seen and the plasic on the back of it is completely welded to the lip and will not be coming off. we'll see how it holds.

they dont make a urethane lip for my car... in fact the lip i bought is the only lip on the market other than the OEM aero kit. 04-05 model Civics (non SI) there is only a handful of ext accessories.

I would have returned it, i know how easy it is to fix but it's ridiculous you have to repair something you just bought unless you purchased it with the understanding it was already jacked.

ahhh its no big deal really. If i was paying $150 to get it painted like all the shops quoted me then id be sending it back for another one... for the lip, shipping, paint, labor....$150 total. if anything happens to it he will fix it for nothing and spray it at no charge.

Otherwise i'd be seriously pissed off about the situation and would be expecting a new one next day air.
