    Default 3000k Yellow HIDs..... legal???

    from what i was told, Yellow bulbs are legal. Altering the housing or tinting the lens yellow is illegal.

    I have heard several different things though.... anyone have an answer??

    Technically I think it is. But I've had all different kinds of bulbs, and have never gotten pulled over for it. Just get what you want.

    that's a ticket waiting to happen...you can get away with it in your fogs but you will be stopped for them in your headlights...might look cool but definatelly not street legal...all the bulbs I have used that were yellow said off road use only...my girlfriend used to work for Gwinnett county court where you pay your tickets for street infractions...stuff like that and LED's in the windshield wiper nozles are easy tickets for cops to write...they just looking for an excuse to pull you over and see what else they can find...why give them a reason...

    I got pulled over for having those yellow bulbs...the cop was being a dick...he said he will lock me up if didn't get it replace...

    i decided to just go with White HIDs 5000k - 6000k and get yellow oem fogs.

    Man Idk about them yellow ones!! I just saw a set in an EG on Lowery in the city. Holy hell if they dont get you pulled over i'll be completely amazed

    DAMNIT! I was so set on getting 3000k. I guess those will be saved for highbeams, fucking shit. I don't wanna spend 350-450 on my lights!
