Everyone should just stop, because no one will actually do anything. No one on here has the balls to say anything to anyones face. with out the internet most of you would be friends. Your all alike, your full of shit and yes I will say that to anyone.

You guys need to back off of Big Baller. Do you actually think he would want to race someone if he still had the stock motor in the WRX?
Matt don't even waste your time with these guys. Me and You will just race each other and compare times.![]()

Yes it will, It should be done in about 3 months.
Motor is being built as we speak.
Matt
But its not done so I wont talk shit.
Oh and before the shit talking about my mustang starts, I have all the parts except the rearend. I'm just waiting until my new house is finished so I can do it right.

I thinks it's funny that you say only one car can talk and all he has is dyno #'s. I mean they are awesome #'s, I haven't disputed that...it just makes me wonder why you keep on talking, Tray![]()
Matt's car has been done since right after HIN. It's actually been to the 1/8 mile. A bunch of your homies saw it run from the WRX Atlanta crew or maybe it was WRX Hackers, I can't remember which Matt said it was (or the times. I haven't done 1/8 yet so I'm not sure how it translates to the 1/4). They were all drooing all over it....I think Matt should "be allowed to talk" in this thread since his car runs, has dyno #'s and track times. According to your formula, he should be the only one allowed to talk in this threadHe can back up all of what he has claimed.
I'll have my day to "talk" shortly. That's why I have been staying out of this. I know how ya'll like to get down. Jason and I will be ready ver soon.
Jason, Quit bumping their thread by posting in it. Just meet them at the trackI'll see you there. Evo VS STI. Ima win!!!!
And who the fuck is this ass clown making up a user name with 1 post telling us that no one wiil do anything? Why don't you post and tell us who you are?
first of all i dont know you tracy. all this thread jackin sucks. this supposed to be about dan and 592 hp sti. now back to jackin. i was one of the peeps from wrxatlanta that night at dallas. ill speek for myself and not for the forum of which yall mentioned. i wouldnt exactly call it drooling over his car. more like a  that someone would do something like that.Originally Posted by tracy
i mean the ic piping was damn near resting on the turbo. also the ic pipeing on the other side is like an inch from the possitive terminal of the battery. im glad i doesnt have that bracket that connectes to the intake manafold like on the txs frontmount or you guys would have some fried stuff.
![]()
thats how a rotated has always looked to me.and atleast they coated there ic pipeing
now on to bragging rights. you say matt has numbers and proof but we never see any of it. the closest ive found was matt= slowerwrx on nasioc.
and im not saying those arent nice numbers but are hardly bragging rights since there is no proof. ive never seen a dyno plot. nor have i seen a time slip. except for that night in dallas. i know thats not the best that car has run. i know yall do some good stuff but wheres the #s?Originally Posted by slowerwrx

This annoys me so let me break down your post
The inlet air temps are lower with this setup than with my "bolt on 18g", so obviously the placement of the intercooler pipes is having a great effect.Originally Posted by jt money

Really, the intercooler is grounded, so once again you are wrong.

You have never seen a dyno chart because one of the moderators on Naisoc keeps taking them down.
:
nor have i seen a time slip. except for that night in dallas. i know thats not the best that car has run.:
It went 12.4 with an 18g and a slipping exedy clutch, lets just say it goes faster now

Nope no more numbers, only racing
Blah Blah Blah... 8.1 in the 1/8th congrats you must be happy.

Do you think I actually gave any good information out at the track.
Becareful who you listen to Doug, people outside of Batlground only have information I give them and its all wrong.
That little trip to the dragstrip was for nothing more than testing the new tranny.
I love how easy it is to start shit on here.

well thats pretty much impossible if you are going to keep it a street car. I don't know who you have been talking too but even the race cars with large windsors that run hot street don't make that much power and they spin the motors to 9000+ rpm. You are going to need way more head then an AFR 225 if you want to even come remotely close. You should shoot for 600 hp in a streetable 408.Originally Posted by Big Baller
If you want to make 1200 hp on motor give Jon kasse a call. He can build you a 800 cubic inch pro-stock engine that will make 1500 hp. Hes up in norcross and does all the motors for IHRA pro stock. I mean you are big baller and stuff i'm sure you can afford what he charges for those mountain motors.
600hp, yeah thats cute, I can make that out of a 302 with afr 185s on it. I already have a set of CNC ported AFR 225s so I think Ill try those first. If those wont get me there,(which they will) then I will try something else. I know of three guys with 351s with basically the same setup I am going to run and they are making 1100hp.
I guess it all depends what you call a street car.
I just reread my first post and realized that I didnt tell you that its a turbo car. Most likely twin GT35R's, maybe GT37s
Matt
well shit why didn't you say that in the first place then. With twin turbos is definitely possible...good luck with it.Originally Posted by Big Baller
yeah, sorry I thought I said that in the first post but I guess not, I thought about doing a NA motor, but I just cant get the power I want with out going to a big block.
Matt
tracy...learn to read hun, tray and trey are not the same people. We've been over this before already. Also I don't know the WRX Atlanta crew or whatever either.
.....and Jason, we've met therefore I can judge you. :P
Nice to see Matt has a bad ass car, had no doubt all along. Would like to see the numbers if it's been finished for so long but I'm sure you are all secretive for one reason or another.![]()
No numbers, but we can fun for some money if you would like.

The Numbers
I'm done posting numbers.
More about the kit
The kit that is on the car was the very first prototype, the one that is going on Jason New's car sits much lower.
There are better ways to run the intercooler pipes, however, Dan designed the kit to be bolt on, so that anyone that already has a frontmount can use it. He has talked about doing another version of the kit with an intercooler and piping that would be a much nicer fit. but you will have to ask him about that.
As for "backing up my numbers"
My numbers have been backed up, on pump gas which is all we ran the 2.0liter on it made 340hp at 18psi.
Did I run more boost than that yep, am I going to tell you how much power it made, nope. You could work with some basic volumetric effecincy formulas and figure it out.
Good Luck
Matt
The offer still stands, Ill be happy to race anyone in Georgia with a Subaru for a little cash.
I love how everyone is an expert
yeah that is a nice coating on the intercooler piping, I'm sure it holds the heat in very nicely.
I'm done for the day, Ill let Tracy handle this
i was just clearing up some generalizations that were made. but since you replied. you were very nice. and i "thought" you were informitive. i dont have a fast wrx so i dont care to race.
anyone can type numbers send me a link to a plot youve ever posted. and dont say plots dont matter. you talk about the subaru community being a bunch of pussies because we dont push the utmost limits. but then you dont share your info so peeps know whats a safe max hp for a stock ej20 longblock. i want big hp but dont have the money to blow my moter. why cant you share your experences since you have moved on to bigger and better blocks?Originally Posted by Big Baller
again cant be any worst than the ic pipe resting on the turbo. i wasnt trin to pick your car apartin the above thread. just got carried away. i dont like to be told what i was doing by someone that wasnt even there. drooling was not what i was doin. asking quetions to satisfy my curiosity was my intentions.Originally Posted by Big Baller

You want to know whats safe.
Stock, stock is perfectly fine, then you dont have to worry about it.
Honestly, you can make 400hp, I dont know how long it will last like that I didnt blow mine up.
As far as turbo placement goes Ill have my new upipe soon enough.
This suby is done and I think its time for a new project, maybe a subaru for the One Lap next year.
