I washed my engine and shortly after i started it. I saw smoke coming up from the back of the motor and it smelled weird. I looked into my dash and saw the battery light was on. I went and pulled the power cable of the battery and it stalled out.

Im thinking that i killed the alternator. What do yall think?? Could it be because its wet??
