It's pretty simple, the higher the Kelvin the less light that is produced. 4000-5000 is the OEM bright white you seen on later model Acura's, etc...I think it's 4,300 to be exact.
The Brightest is the 3000k which is yellow, just like the GT cars you'd see at Rolex 24hrs/Daytona, Le Man, etc...they normally also have yellow film covering the lenses too.
