If so its the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

could be code 17, code 1 and 7, or code 10 and 7. depends on how it's flashing.

long flash=10 and is about 1 second long
short flash=1 and is about 1/2 second long
codes are seperated by no light for about 2 seconds
once all codes are shown they will continue to repeat until the svc connector is unjumped.

    code 17=vss
    code 1=primary o2
    code 7=tps
    code 10=iat

its a quick 1 flash then a pause. so im guessing my o2 still is not hooked up correctly..dammit. and tps i have no idea how to fix that if its a wiring issue.i hate this shit. i will put another throttle body with good tps and see if that helps. if it is a vss code how can i fix that? im not sure if my car actually has one. oh and after it shows all the codes it will not repeat 1 and 7 it will only do the long single flash and then stop.

on a socketed/chipped ecu the o2 can be disabled, but it would definately need to be tuned.

turn off the car, disconnect the ecu for 30 seconds then recheck the codes. i've never seen codes not repeat.

you can replace the vss. it should be sticking up from the tranny case (i think it's held down w/ 1 10mm bolt) w/a plug to it.
