    i would honestly start with a 600 or a 750 a 600 will do enough for you to be happy with trust me and everybody else that says so
    i agree completely, i been ridin since i was lil and i have said numerous times that i think the 750 is a good starter bike cuz its something you can grow with

    Lol. You're dumb. A new rider has no business on any race-replica sport bike. They are *considerably* more difficult to ride proficiently. If you don't already realize that, then its because you don't know how to ride. Period.

    If the OP wants to end up a straight-line speed junkie like stay_up (who constantly makes ignorant comments regarding motorcycles), then it doesn't matter what he starts on...

    ...but if the OP wants to take the fastest & safest path to getting any skills, then he will start on 500cc or smaller.

    My recommendation to the OP: Do your own research. Just like anything else, people will give you varying bits of advice (some of it good, some of it bad).

    There are lots of people out there who will give you a bunch of shitty advice because they dont' know any better. Such is life. Make an informed decision, even if its the wrong one.
