    Default h22 or b-series

My cousin just bought a eg shell....he has 3,500 to spend on a swap...

I told him to go with a gsr swap/ls/v/b20v/gsr block itr head etc...

He has his heart set on a h22 and thinks he will yield high 170/180 stock...

I'm unfamilar with h22's since i always dealt with b-series...are they reliable?

any info to help him out is appreciated

You talking about the Vtec one right then yes there pretty good engines. Just heavy as hell, but fast. They come with like 200 hp so your cousin is right stock 170/180.

go for the H22 for the torque and price of it. the price is much cheaper than a gsr swap.

They only weight about 30 pounds more than a B18. So what?

Go with the H. He won't regret it.
