Angry FUEL AND SPARK...STILL WON'T CRANK

i have a 00 civic si. i changed out the rotor button and cap...it was running fine before..but i decided to do it since i was doin a rutine tune-up. well i took of the distributor and put all the new stuff on it...put it back and now it wont start...i hear the fuel pump turn or whatever when i turn the key and i checked for spark..but still wont crank...im pretty sure the spark plug wires are in the right sequnce??

ps. the distributor was hard putting back in..i checked to if it was alighn with the cam and all

    should i check the timing?

sounds like wires may be in wrong order as stated above, if that isn't it then i would check the timing
