all you need is something to hold the crank pulley. as a matter of fact, where are you? i had to make one for a d17 we turboed. i bet it'd fit. all you need is a big monkey wrench and a breaker bar on a 1/2" drive with like a 17 socket i think. if you're close enough, ill give you the tool. then just replace the water pump, bring #1 cylinder to TDC. remove all the spark plugs to make that easier. put a long screwdiver down the plug hole to make sure you're on TDC. run through the BDC to TDC a few times to make absolutely sure you're on TDC, youwil see thescrewdriver stop moving when you hit TDC. then spin the cam around to compression on #1. removing the valvecoverwillmakethat alot easier to tell. then just replace the belt and make sure the tension is toward the rear of the motor. tighten the tensioner pulley and replacethe valve cover.make sure you have all the grounds attached and you're on your way. it'll probably take you like 4 hours. good luck if you attempt it and don't bother paying someone else to make sure you're ok. just be sure yourself

nothing extremely hard about it. just a little tediousness.
