    Default power mirrors

    when i try to adjust my mirrors on my civic they make a noise but dont move. i tried another switch and the same thing. anyone have this problem?

    the motor could be fucked up, or it could just be off track or something.

    are you talking about the motor in each mirror. i could understand one mirror being bad but both of mine do the exact same thing.

    If it is making noise I am sure the motor is probably fine. The little things inside the mirror itself that are attached to the back of the mirror may have broken. They normally break when you try to move the mirror by hand. You could have also stripped any gears that are in the motor assembly. Take it apart, thats all you can do, but it sounds to me like you have broken the reduction gears or the little arms that move the actual mirror.

    ok, the guy i bought the car from must have fucked something up because it has been like that sence i bought it. but thanks for your help +reps for both of you.
