anyone got a 3rd gen roller?
Looking for a 3rd gen shell and a clean title preferably.
I don't need any parts, just the shell/frame to include chasis VIN markings and plate with the title. Prefer a set of wheeles mounted so I can move it, but if not no big deal.
I will be available to pick up/purchase 7-27 March, if later then sometime in June/July when I finally move back from Japan.
Looking for a ballpark range of $500 - $1,000. Anything higher I don't think I will consider.
I know of one, but it is my next project car... no way am I letting it get sold.

A 3rd gen roller for $1K or less? No one is going to tell you about it. They will just get it for themselves. Check the dealer auctions. A complete running one went for $750 a coupel of years back.
well all i need is a frame and title, that's it, wouldn't think that'd be to hard to find. 2 years ago i found lots up for grabs but that was awhile ago and i wasn't moving back to the states, now i am and i can't find anything lol
Have you checked on the rx7club forum? But I don't know if they are selling for that low though.
yeah i'm on there as well, but only rollers selling are full cars with no engines for upwards for $5k
i'm currently talking to a guy in OR that is selling a full running titled FD for $4,200. hoping things work out and i'll end up with what i need for cheap plus lots of parts to sell

Yea i have to look at it every day and its sad, body wise its in perfect condition no dents or dings the paint is bad on it, its starting to have places where the clear coat has gone on it. The interior is perfect, leather has been babied and it gets cleaned and treated about ever 3 months or so. The seal went out and 2nd turbo no longer works. The down side is its not even in your price range or anyones for a rolling chasis fd, he wants 17k for it if he sells it. why is the price so high? well it keeps people from buying it, and if someone does buy it, its enough money where he can just go get him another one
I've offered to buy it, everyone in moca has offered to buy it, his brother offered to buy it and he wont come down on the price at all... Hopefully he will pay his A4 off soon so he can start Fixing it.
I spend money on HP not Brand Names.
