    Default checking OBD1 honda CELS

    ive had a recurring on and off again CEL in my 93 civic..how do i check this?? i know the pin connector next to the ECU but i cannot find it or the connectors i need to jump.

    Any info is appreciated

    should be stuffed up in there somewhere, sometimes there is a blue or green rubber thing around it. just looks like a normal 2 hole clip, may be a 3 hole clip in there too, use the 2 hole clip and if you know how to read the code it blinks look it up

    edit: ok stuffed up there isnt a good description of where, at the bottom right side of the glove box it should be right around there or laying in that side of the bottom of the dash by the glove box

    i think the 93 civics and all integras put it just above and in front of the ecu tucked just beneath the glove box. green rubber boot that hold both it (2 wire plug) and a 3 wire plug.

    later gen civics have it just behind and above the ecu deeper in the footwell/kickpanel area.
