it might not need a rebuild, but some people like new gaskets/seals when doing major upgrades on the engine... but as i was saying the cost is probably cheaper to go boost and you would make more power. if you go h22 you have to pay for motor + install (that means takeing your motor out putting h22 in = lots of labor $$$)... if they make a turbo kit for your car i would be done w/ it. you should be able to pass emissions... you drive a honda they aren't reeventing the wheel.Originally Posted by blank cd

But at the same time, could the car stay emissions legal? I dont wanna trip alot of codes cause im OBD2 and its harder/more expensive to pass. As far as rebuild, the engine prolly dont have more than 60k on the dial. I have the paperwork on the motor just havent looked at it
