The only problems I've known of with the Spec V were the pre-cat in the header and the butterfly valve screws.
The pre-cat header problem was recalled, but I'd just swap the stock header for a Stillen or something. The Buttlerfly Valve Screws can be removed and put back on with locktite for a quick and effective solution.![]()

. Its a pretty major defect for an entire run of cars to have. My engine blew at 58,000 miles
(it was an 05) becaue of the pre-cat.
