You would have to use ABF pistons if you are not gonna turbo it.

But you wouldn't need to rebuild it if you were gonna go with a turbo (maybe just a hone and new rings). The drop in compression from the 16v head would put you right at 9:1. Sucky for a n/a motor, but awesome for a turbo.
