The Pre 03 tranny really isn't as brittle as I thought it would be. Every one told me to treat it like glass, but I'm making more than enough torque to break it, and mine has held up fine. I launch the shit out of it too.

I heard that the only year with a weak tranny were the 02's.
if you found an 03 Sonic yellow one GET IT they are so fucking hot and rare
