    Default Phantom Grip.

How hard would it be to install a phantom grip in a ls tranny and do you have to take the tranny completely out of the car to do it? Or would it be better to go lsd?

It would be far better to just go ahead and spend the money on the LSD. The phantom grip will lead to a differential failure eventually.

And, yes you must tear the transmission down to replace the diff.

I've never messed with trannys that much. I was wanting the easy way to do this without taking the transmission out. I guess so much for that.
