    Default best way to get paint and clear coat off tires?

    i bought some tires from someone , and they had painted their car but didnt cover the tires well enough , what is a safe way to remove the paint off them, thanx

    or use carburetor cleaner BUT DO NOT GET IT ON YOUR CAR OR THE WHEELS!!!!!. cover the wheels with petroleum jelly or grease around the area. The carb cleaner will eat through that as well, just not as fast... It should help dissolve the paint. Don't leave it on for more than a few seconds. it works fast.

    I would use "Bleche white" spray product. It's the best out there.

    yep sure did , and i also used a brillo , if i cant get it off(that sounded funny in my head when i typed it ,lol) i think i'll take them to a tire place and turn the tires around
