Need an opinion on Exhaust
I just got a 06 Gsxr600 last Nov. and started making my wants list for mods. Just looking for some feedback on what type Exhaust to look for. Ive seen some that say you dont need to rejet with them, but honestly looking for somones feed back with more knowledge then myself. Thanks

two brothers is what I have run on my gixxers. Seem to flow better IMO than the yoshis

Has anyone heard the akrapovic mega phone slip on for the 06r6? Im thinking about getting either the akrapovic, leovince, or termignoni but i wanna hear them in person
if your going with a slip on dont waste your money on those. buy a slash cut. they are $100 and sound great. i made a slash cut for my bike and its the best sounding slip there is for the 6 right now
Personally... I think Akrapovic sounds good on sport bikes, but Yosh is good too. Let me know if you want some pricing on those

you mention rejetting... isn't the 06 gsrx FI? Thus you would want a PC not rejetting... if they are still carb they are a bit behind

I had a d&d, it was loud and I had some flames come out. I was looking at akropovic but it had like 1-2 more hp and $400 more or something like that so I said forget it.

Well i have a 2002 gsxr600 and damn bucky,Con and dk can tell u that it is in the top 3 best sounding pipes out ther for the gsxr600 my bikes sound so freaking mean and loud D&D is the way i will always go.
Micron High Mount, D&D Exhaust, ART, Scorpion, Muzzy have all been good ones in my book.
If you want to go loud and be a cop magnet, try the hot bodies.
Try Leo Vance, those are always nice, we had a buddy open her throttle up and fire actually spurted out of the exhaust.
Akrapovic all the way! I loved mine.
I've had a Jaradine, which had a real mellow tone, but the Akrapovic was music to my ears.
D&D is a squid pipe D&D means Deaf & Dumb.
Scorpion is alright, but two of my friends have had some minor issues with the build quality and leaked at the cannsiter
I just got the Brand new Scorpion Cf exhaust. Whats this about leaks. It sounds great.

Jardine is a very good one. Venom are good also for sound but not intended for road use. LOL.
Well one of my favorite is Akrapovic. Sound and flow is really good.
I am not sure when Black beach week is but if you find out shit lemmi know im in athens georgia and i would love to ride out to it with you if you are looking to make the trip with some numbers i got an R6 and i dont wanna ride all that way alone.
Swatic I was thinking more in the field of towing the bike down and then ride around down there that 6 hr to Myrtle beach or 10 hr ride to south beach is just a little bit 2 exhausting. Me and my buds are heading down to Daytona Bike week we could all just meet up there.
