yessir...i even walk sidewayz....
I like sportmax wheels, but I dont know how their durability is. I know someone who bought some and said they cracked on him. I dont know if this was tire pressure, his driving, or the design, but they were new. they weren't those standard 5 spokes.
My favs are the ones that look like SSR wheels...a big fat chrome lip
they have pretty low quality. they have egged and warped just like other low end wheels like rota's. if its for show or just daily use I'd say they would be ok if you just want cheap looks.
For use on the track where they will be pushed, I would not trust them in a heart beat. Not only is the unsprung mass for the size really shitty, you will be going through more brake pads and there build quality is horrible so your always wondering if they will fail on you. Your better off using a Z33 track set than you are sport max's.
sigh, here we go with the rota bashing again. get out and go to an autocross or track day, be surprised at how many people run rotas and like them. they've had some problems before with their thin spoked models, but have backed their products admirably. Check your wheels responsibly and you'll be fine.Originally Posted by Verik
