Witnesses should have confirmed your story. That's BS! I hate **** like that. I have been in that situation. Here is what you should done as soon as ur bumber clipped the other car...

- turn the radio on to 101.5 (rascal flatts is great crash music)
- apply left blinker
- open sunroof (if no sunroof, use trunk-pop lever)
- steer into the slide (u did that already - check)
- drop 2 gears
- adjust side view mirrors (both sides)
- RE-adjust pax side b/c u did it wrong
- apply chapstick (in rear view mirror)
- clutch-kick
- 90% throttle

THAT would have kept u outta trouble. That's what I do.

after further looking at the damage... you would have needed to apply chapstick BEFORE re-adjusting the pax side-view mirror.
