Arrow FS: Valentine One w/ Remote Display

You can buy these directly from V1 or you can buy them off ebay and pay for shipping...

I've had the V1 for almost 1.5 years now... I need to sell it for a down payment on my wife's car...

It's an awesome radar detector and it's been well cared...

I don't care what you "think" the V1 is worth or where you find the V1 online for less...this is a local buy and it's worth every $$ I have in it...

I paid almost $600 bux for this w/ the remote display and shipped to my door back in january of 04...It comes with a LIFETIME MANUFACTURER's WARRANTY and is lifetime on free upgrades...

currently, the system comes with all the bands available here in America and in Europe, and it's totally programmable...

anyhow, I'll have pics up this weekend

    Price: $475 FIRM

    I guess they've gone down in price...they were 499 last year...phuck!!...

but when you add in the accessories, it's still pretty expensive...

If you put up the serial number anyone can look it up on Valentine's website to see what version it is. BTW, the "windshield mount" comes with all V1's from factory.

Hey man don't get upset. You got look at it from the prospective purchaser's point of view.

Why would they pay $400 for a 1.5 yr old unit when they can get a brand spanking new one for the same price right from Valentine? The remote display is only $39 BRAND NEW from Valentine. Again, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, just letting you know why there's obviously no interest.

Don't take it from me, although I already have my own.......you can see it here: https://store.valentine1.com/store/

Remember too that you are competing with the likes of ebay too, although on ebay they usually like to sell older units too.

    Just trying to help. My

I ain't madatcha...but it's like I paid 499 for mine just a little over a 1.5 yrs ago...since then they have dropped the price to compete for some damn reason with the passport 8500...and because of that, i'm geting fuxored...

anyhow, I agree w/ purchasing a new product if the price is right...but the V1 i have works/ functions and is absolutely perfect in every way as if it was New....now, when you factor in the $40 kit plus the $20 shipping...you're getting an awesome deal on a V1 that works/functions just as the brand new ones do...

so you can go and purchase a brand new one for 399, then pay for shipping and get a brand new one or you can purchase mine that is just as clean and works just as well but with a free remote display kit...and you don't have to pay for shipping...a $60 savings in my book...

    anyhow...

PM if you have anymore questions..

There are updates, and I believe a very recent one with the V1. You should run your serial number on their website to make sure you have the latest version. $20 for shipping!?! Maybe overnighted to you. . . .

I'm confused on why you dont want to post the serial number? what can it do? can someone say you stole their valentine? the only reason people are asking is because you dont know what updates you have, and you are asking a pretty high price for something that is 1.5 years old, and for a little more you can get a brand new one with upgraded software...

that's the only reason I can see why it isnt moving.

you might just want to post it up on ebay or something, because it's pretty obvious that no one here is gonna spend that kind of money.

everyone on IA lowballs the hell out of things and it'll probably be easier for you to get the price you want from ebay'ing
