    Default Dell Dimension 8100 $100

    Dell Dimension 8100
    P4 1.5ghz
    128mg ram
    80gig HDD
    DVD
    ZIP drive (lol)
    Windows Server 2003 installed.
    I used this machine for FTP uploads and torrent downloads. Basically anything that required long upload/downloads was dealt with with this guy. Its not overly powerful but it did exactly what i needed it to do. I dont even have a monitor hooked up to it, i just remote desktop to it. I do have a old school CRT, mouse and keyboard if you need tem.

    If you want any other operating system installed, let me know. I've got XP, windows 2000, windows 98, Linux Fedora Core 6, Linux Ubuntu, Or if you want something else, let me know and ill get it.

    Specs as in speed? Ill have to get back to you on that because ive not found out myself. I know the harddrive is a 80gig/7200rpm seagate barracuda. Memory is nothing special. and a whopping 128mg of it

    Install done a few weeks ago, ive put firefox, msn messenger, and smartftp on it. I can do another fresh install if you need though

    what are the drive/memory specs? memory - pc133,ddr,ddr2... 80gb/7200rpm but is it ide/sata/scsi, etc... just post up the board info and i can find it... i'm interested in it for a file server....
