i just read the link... says the site is down due to hackers. does the firmware you have allow the wii to play dvd's? if yes, in what quality? hd?

to be honest I have no idea

but I assume if it has the power to let you run homebrew apps, then you can probably run a DVD? I mean its reflashable with a regular DVD disk you burn on your computer... and it lets you play JDM wii games lol. (PAL)

bump for randomguy... the wii key is the greatest thing on earth...i have one myself...it allows you to play backup/copies of games, homebrew games like random guy mentioned , it will also allow you to play all region codes for dvd movies, you can also play other roms, emulators, and applications that you burn onto blank dvd media..
