    If I buy this can I bring it in to Best Buys and get them to install it(For same price as if I bought from there?), even if I didnt buy it from there?

    nope... yes i know bestbuy is 500 plus installation... but there is no warranty unless you buy it seperately... there is a 1 year manufactures warranty with the box tho!

    So if it has been sitting "forever" then the warranty is no good and nontransferable.

    yeh what i meant was 500 with installation... thats why i posted the alarm at 275 negotiable... so i can get somewhere around that range... i stated in one of my comments that i seen it on ebay for 245 without shipping... sorry let me fix my thread!
