Its an AMD Athlon 64 processor 2800+ 1.8 ghz with about 2303 mb of ram. was built professionally. I upgraded the memory with 2 gigs of ram and comes with an extra gig and half, upgraded sound card to a Soundblaster Audigy ZS and also upgraded the video card to an ATI Radeon X1600. Comes with a razor copperhead mouse, keyboard is a cheap mirco innovations, monitor is a viewsonic not sure how big, have had it for awhile and still is in good shape, Altec Lansing speakers and recently upgraded windows to windows vista home edtion. i paid a grand for unit alone and upgraded alot so this is a good deal for a awesome computer. Will reformat pc for selling and cds with be included, and Trades Welcome.

i think i posted that wrong its got 2303mb of ram which is 2gigs and an half, people at staples said the same when i walked in and asked for 3 gigs of memory.

I have built a many of systems and that shit is way over priced. This sytems is atleast 2 years old. I built my buddy a computer with a Athlon 64 4400 with 2 gig of ram and 200gb SATA hard drive and Geforce 7600GT video card with Viewsonic 17" LCD monitor for $1600 and that was almost a year ago. Not trying to bash your thread but you price is through the roof bro. You can buy a dell XPS for that kind of money.

i doubt it has been overclocked because it has stock fan and AMD's don't overclock that great anyway.

even with those "extras" it won't justify $1000...not even close...not trying to bash but you should reconsider the price. Computer prices drop fast and quick. You might have paid more than $2000 long ago, but now...it's not worth much.

you are still fucking retarded. You state even in your VERY first post that it's a cheapo keyboard and old CRT monitor. those are worth what? $80 at most together?

Dont try and justify trying to rip people off by throwing in that old ass desk and chair...even with the fake samurai sword and those blank disks in your desk the whole setup isnt worth $1000.

do us all a favor and goto pricewatch.com and get some market prices on your gear and make a new thread with a reasonable price.

tell you what, I got a bag of cheeto's that clearly states 99cents on the bag, but I'll sell it to you for $20.

I just recently less than a week ago built an AMD X2 3800+ with 2gbs of RAM, 7600GT, 250GB SATAII HD, DVD-RW, DVD, 500W PSU, and a decent looking case with a 19" Widescreen Viewsonic LCD and Vista Home Premium for $1,100... Your price is extremely high. As most were saying you might be LUCKY and I do mean LUCKY to get $600. You are selling a first gen Athlon64 that's socket 754 which if someone wanted to ugrade the highest they could go is a 3400+ it apparently has AGP another outdated technology. Not to bash but cmon be reasonable bro.

On a sidenote thought - Razer Copperhead = Best damn mouse there is

yeah it is high thats why im taking offers instead now and i dont know if i really like razor mouses im having lots of simple problems maybe bc im not use to it yet, evrything is pci express now and im wanting a pci express now and 200 is an insult considering i just put 2 gigs in it and there $100 a gig.

right now i have it at [email protected]

my highest *screen shot to prove it * overclock was 2222.90 @13.5

that is a 23.49% overclock

and you are telling me taht they dont overclock well?

compared to Intel they don't. The pentium D 805 dual core runs at 2.6 you can over clock it to 3.7 with stock voltage and fan and it is stable at 4.1 with increased voltage and better cooling. That my friend is faster than intels extreme chip which retails for $999.

i agree you can over clock AMD, I have had several AMD but they wont over clock like Intel. I believe it only ran about 10-15 degrees more at 3.7, but they recommend either the new zalman fan or liquid cooling to run at 4.1.

The World Record set with AMD's FX-57 and is right at 4GHz.

The World Record set with Intel's 965 series and is around 7.2GHz.

Both are using liquid nitrogen.

AMD's fastest FX single core chips are very hard to overclock much past 3GHz, and AMD's dual core are hard to reach 3GHz, yet Intel's dual core chips usually can reach near or just over 4GHz only using a good air cooling system.
