    Default 1999 Cobra Vert -- Red/Black/Black

I just got a new job that requires me to get a 4 door ASAP so make an offer...

For sale is my 1999 Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible that is Red/Black/Black and fully optioned (all two of them, lol).

The car was purchased new off the truck in March of 99 from Parkway Ford in Adairsville, GA and has been my Daily Driver for most of its life.

    Approx 103,500 Miles
    Red/Black Top/Black Leather

    Aftermarket Parts:

    Engine/Exhaust:

Bassani Stainless X-Pipe with High Flow Cats
Borla XR-1 Cat Back with Intercooled Tips (the original "double" tips)
Mobil 1 5-30 since the 2nd oil change.
    Optima Red-Top Battery
Car Dynoed 291hp/297tq a couple years back
Car Had "the fix" back in 2000

    Transmission:

    Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and handle
    Steeda Double-Adjustable Clutch Quadrant
    Steeda Firewall Adjuster
    Adjustable Clutch Cable
    Synthetic ATF Fluid
Spec Stage 1 Clutch & Pressure Plate (~5000 miles)
    Spec Aluminum Flywheel (~5000 Miles)

    Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:

Steeda Sport Springs (original batch from 99 that were known to over-settle in the rear. 2/3rds of a dead coil has been removed from the front to compensate and give it one heck of a mean stance)
    Steeda Upgraded Front Sway Bar
    Steeda 3 Bolt Caster/Camber Plates
    Hal/QA1 12 Way Adjustable Shocks
    Tokiko 5 Way Adjustable Struts
    Steeda Tubular Sub-Frame Connectors
    Roush 18x9 Front/18x10 Wheels
H&R Wheel Spacers w/integrated studs on rear (35mm)
    Nitto 555 Tires - 265/35/18 Front & 285/35/18 Rear
    Steeda Lug Nuts (allen-head style)
    EBC Slotted/Dimpled Brake Rotors
Hawk Brake Pads at all 4 corners

    Appearance:

    CDC Light Bar
    Spoiler Reposition (free-mod)
    Smoked Headlights w/Clear Reflectors
    Cut Antennae
32% Tint on Side and Rear Glass
    Rolled Rear Fender Lips

    Interior/Stereo:

Panasonc Mp3/CD player w/integrated Ipod connection for ipods with a dock connector (charges it too)
Alphasonic Components in the Front w/crossovers mounted behind the door panels
Alphasonic Coaxial Speakers in the Rear
Alphasonic Amp for front speakers residing where factory Mach460 Amps were (behind the rear seat)
    New(ish) Factory Floormats
Aftermarket "cubby" where cd player used to reside

    Recent Maintenance:

New Belt Tensioner & Serpentine Belt (Replaced 2 Weeks ago when tensioner failed and chewed the belt)
    New(ish) IAC Valve
    New Fuel Pump
    New Stock Mass Air Meter
The tires have maybe 8,000 miles on them but I really don't think its even 1/2that. They all have replacement certificates from Discount Tire.

'OOPS-es' -- I want to be as honest as I possibly can be here to avoid surprises, nothing like driving 500 miles to find out an item isn't as advertised.

The car's paint is starting to show its age now that it is kept outside. Car was garaged for the first 5 years of its life until I took it with me to college where it began to sit outside. However, I'm pretty anal about my rides so don't let the things I point out bother you too much -- this car is still as nice or nicer than any 99 with this mileage. From 5 feet away she's a stunner. The car has a couple dings here and there that are depicted below and the one semi-major thing is the boo-boo on the right rear fender from when I hydro-planed in a torrential downpour and swung the rear-end through a bush. No real "impact" per-se but the stump of a holley bush punched a couple of holes in the right-rear corner of the bumper-cover but its not that bad. Upgrade to an 03 cover and you'll be as good as new. The only real points of interest on the interior is the front-left speaker dosen't work currently (I'm almost positive the crossover came loose in the door from repeated slamming and I just haven't been in to fix it yet) and the couple small spots I mentioned previously on the ouside. The interior is nearly flawless and the top has zero issues/leaks/anything. The back window is aftermarket (I'm an idiot and put the top/down when I had something hanging over the back seat, lol) but is as good as factory.

The car has not been abused (I made the factory clutch last 90+ thousand miles if that tells you anything) and is ready to hit the street and turn some heads for the rest of the summer. I would not think twice about driving this car to California and back tomorow if the need arose. She still pulls as strong as ever and handles like an absolute dream. If you're looking for a car that runs/stops/handles well and will get alot of looks at the same time you're in the right place!

Price: $11,500 OBO As she sits. I'll throw the stock rims and tires on there instead for $10,000 obo. I'm ready to move her so make an offer and I'll see what we can work out.

    Thanks for Looking!

You would think so but I haven't had many prospects. I may end up getting raped and trading it in for pennies on the dollar if it doesn't pick-up soon.
