Default 1996 Ford Mustang GT (4.6, 5 spd) -$4000 SOOOLLLDDD

    SOLD...or, traded, more specifically.

    1996 Ford Mustang GT

    -4.6 V8, 5 spd.
    -180k miles.

-Brand new Borg-Warner T45 trans. New throwout bearing and pilot bearing. Clutch is good. New tranny mount. New U-joints. New coil packs, spark plugs, and plug wires.

    -Flowtech Offroad X pipe
    -Flowmaster 40s
-1995 Cobra R's with nearly new Riken Raptors 275/40-17.
    -Corbeau TRS seats and rails
    -Pioneer cd player.

    Issues:

-Has a cracked intake manifold. It happens on all 96-98 GT's. The coolant crossover section of the plastic intake manifold right behind the alternator gets brittle and cracks. Only a hairline crack though. It seeps a little coolant. Has been patched over with Waterweld, which works pretty well.

-Has a vibration coming from the rear end under heavy throttle in first and second gear that we've narrowed down to upper control arm bushings being old and allowing the pinion angle to change, causing the driveshaft to bobble. Cheap fix.

-The vents don't work. Air or heat only blow out on the windshield defrost vent. They're vaccuum operated and I haven't been motivated to try to fix them, but it should be another simple one.

That's pretty much it. It runs strong and has been very reliable for me. I've put around $1300 in parts alone into this thing in the last month and a half. Just a few more little fixes and it'll be golden.

I need to get $4000 out of it. Email [email protected].

Will vouch for this, very strong, well maintained, and very nice car. Hate to see him sell it.
