    Default fork oil?

    about to attempt to replace my fork seals...ive looked around and cant find out what weight oil came in the forks from the factory. does anyone know? also has anyone changed out seals that could give me a few pointers before i start then have f*ed forks??

    10 weight is typically factory

    Yeah I was thinking of doing the springs in my 14 but when I read the job, i decided to pay someone that KNOWS how its done. Its my life riding on those forks. Its already a big bike so im sure the forks are working pretty hard and if a F the job up who knows what could happen lol.

    true. also what could cause the front end to be really shakey when i get on it? headset bearing possibly?

    "Get on it" meaning WOT or close to it? Could be a bad front tire? Is the tire new? It doesnt have a steering stabilizer does it?

    new tire, and the 05 gsxr 600's came with a stabilizer. but i changed out the oil in it to have a better feedback.
