Finally got around to cutting down my stock exhaust. All i did was remove the wadding and take out two of the chambers. It sounds just like the yoshimura carbon trs.
Before and after. I ended up cutting out 9 inches of pipe.

A guy I know did the same thing to his zx6r and had good results. Looks good.
