around town or in sanctioned racing? there's a very big difference.

speaking from experience on motorcycles, i thought i was a good rider overall until i hit a trackday and found out that everything i "knew" was wrong. street and track driving are two different worlds entirely so if all of your "experience" at the ripe old age of 17 is on the streets then i'd suggest starting in a driving school or a trackday that does lead/follow with classroom time.

Is nasa's HPDE a good way to get started? I have been doing mt. runs with my brother for awhile, so i think i have a few of the basics down.
