So... say I consistently run 11.7's and 11.8's throughout the day... but on one of my bad runs, I ran a 12.001... since I'm not anywhere near 11.000, can I still compete for the closes to 12 with the 12.001?

If not, this would encourage me to run slower just so I have a chance at winning money, assuming my car can only run mid to high 11's at best. =[

Also, I'm assuming AWD cars are excluded from the dyno competition, right? What kind of dyno will be there?

your times count for the secs your in... so if your run a 12.001 & a 11.999 you would win the "closest to 12" for your 12.001 run not the 11.999 run... you can run 11.5's all day and run a 14.001 one time and be the winner of the "closest to 14sec"

like i said before its like a friday night at the track, except 5$ off w/ the flyer, so only 15$ to run, and you have the chance to win money. if there is a need for us to start making classes for racing like other events we can do that next year. we are using the same format as before.

come out have fun running your car, check out some nice rides, girls, etc...

Ok, I have a quick class clarification question (sorry if this sounds n00bish), but what is the difference between conservative and mild. Basically which is more modified. Im not sure what class i would fit in. Is there a mod limit (or suggested limit) to each "class." I think I would be in the middle, but not sure whether the middle is mild or conservative.
    TIA

conservative, is normally someone w/ like wheels, exhaust, intake, tint, etc...

mild, is normally someone w/ the above, body kit, system, paint, etc...

wild, custom apps, paint, body, interior, system, motor, etc.

is the sound competition going to be divided into any classes, like wattage or number and size of speakers??? I read the part about highest DB and the SPL competition, just wondering about the classes; if there are any.

also, can you compete in the conservative class with like a lip kit, rims, drop and basic bolt ons??

This message is for those entering the burn out competition... I have 5 215/40/17 tires that would be great to use in the contest...i am not selling these and will just give them to you (2 tires per person so long as you enter the competition)

let me know who is interested in the tires...one of them had a nail in the side wall but i havent been able to figure out which one it is yet....maybe you would be able to patch it cuz after all its just for the burn out

I have a question. I noticed on the preregistration you pick what class you want to enter mild, wild, conservative. Is there going to be someone monotoring that. The only reason I ask is because I heard that was a big complaint at the HIN shows because people got to pick their own class. I don't care, I entered wild because that is the class my car belongs in, but I know some people like to entire the mild class to take an easy win. Just trying to keep things fair for everyone and express a big concern that some people had. Thanks guys.
