Does the $25 fee cover both the show and the sound-off? If so I might try to bump the system just to see what DB level I hit.

I hear that... I haven't put my car on a sound meter but it hits pretty hard so I am kind of interested to find out what kind of DB I am pushing... In a hatch it shouldn't be too bad.

The guy (Jim) that does the show sometimes goes by sub sizes. But the flyer for this show says watt classes.

Larry still hasn't heard anything. It may be $25 for the car show and $25 for the sound off, but I'm not sure. :/

wattage classes, is that going to be watts at 4 ohm, or at sub impedence? This makes a VERY big difference cause a couple of my friends are considering coming to the show deending on how the classes are done. IE, both have very good scores if classing at 4 ohm, but nothing impressive if classes are determined by sub impedence.

All amplifiers in the vehicle are to be classed at 4 ohm as
suggested by manufacture. Every amp. In the vehicle will be accounted for unless removed from vehicle.
0 -100 watts / 101 - 300 watts / 301 - 500 watts / 501 - 700 watts / 701 - 1000 watts - 1001 - up watts.

cool, I'll let them know, If you see a white cutlass on 13's there, he will be in the 501-700 class, doing about a 159 on the a/c. And a black explorer in the 701-1000 class doing about 167 on the a/c.

shit i have two amps but only one is going to the subs......and im not going to remove the other one just to be put in the right class...

I'm not sure that it will be $25 each, but I'd rather tell you that it is just in case.

thats how it has always been $25 to show $25 for spl. Jim McCoy runs his shows just like a Whitlee Show there NOT much difference!
