If it's tagged and insured, it's a street car. The only question then is it on street tires - DOT approved is street legal. It doesn't matter if the car is boosted or not - fast is fast.
As to track vs street:
At events like IS, the track gets prepped, so it gets better traction; however, when you have lots of street radial cars running, they kill the surface making it no different than running on a street surface.
The only real reason not to run on the track is because you plan to jump the start and the track would red light you OR you plan to jump out first then hit the brakes before the end to claim that you won. Either way, it only makes sense to insist on the street when you have a track so readily available if you plan to try to cheat.

Problem is tracks have rules and regulations..In the street anything goes.. That is my reason for not racing at track for money!!

What rules and regulations are stopping you from running for a side wager? I'm not seeing anything that would stop it or make the street preferable.
There a ton of spots to run at on the street near Silver Dollar though. If you really want to run on the street, there are a couple of good spots less than 15 mins from SDR.
You could easily meet before going to the track, race, settle up, then go to the track.

I was asking a serious question. Wasn't sure what rule or regulation that you were worried about.
The class I plan to run is "all motor"
How does that affect running before the event or during test and tune? Its not clear to me what rule or regulation is blocking that.
