I like how everyone thinks that since they run 10.8s and 10.9's that they are on the same level as people (Matt) that run consistant 10.1 and 10.2's or even Josh running 10.3 and 10.4s. I think most people think hell it's easy to shave off 6 to 7 tenths. Well it is when you are running 13's. A little seat time, good alignment, tire pressure change, etc and you can pick up half a sec. It's a little harder when you start making more power and get to lower times. Hell I know some 10.5 outlaw guys that will spend hours at the track to just pick up 1 or 2 tenths.
And like Vteckidd said earlier, Matt has never used all the power he has. Hell he hasn't even dynoed the car over 650whp in over a year (was having some ignition issues). The old numbers were just to say he can make that. Hell, Josh hasn't even used all he has.
Take Joey's car for example, he ran 11.1's with 400whp but he was using all 400 all track. Well guess what, Matt's and Josh's cars easily makes over 650whp but do you think they can use that the entire track. So the only time they use that is on the top end. Well guess what, that is how you go from 11.1 to 10.1.
And Blake will you please bring your Full interior, full weight, full whatever car to the track so Jody can take his Full interior, Full weight, power windows, sub and amp Civic and have a little fun "street" car shootout.
