    Default Photoshoot on the northside of Atl by GA_Teg...when & where exactly?

    We were talking about getting together for a photoshoot on some Saturday in the mountain run thread ( http://forums.importatlanta.com/show...&page=39&pp=15 ). He says that this Sat is booked.

    Anyone have any comments on when beyond that weekend?

    The few that had commented on coming are on the northside of town. I would prefer somewhere up GA 400 or at least like Mall of GA area. Anyone know of a decent spot (good background)?

    What else beyond stationary backgrounds (like maybe some action shots where we could pack together closely and get some nice group shots)?

    GA_Teg, is there a cutoff that you'd like to have (as far as how many)?

    There is no cut-off number for me, just make sure I have two cars to ride in so everyone gets a pic. I would say that 10 cars would be a good number unless we get Jaime to come along.

    Also post up any ideas you have for a shooting location.

    No I read your post right. Not sure which part you are talking about tho.

    You and Jaime are going to check it out this weekend and I am shooting Rens car this weekend.

    You'd be suprised what an experienced photographer could do with any car! Clean her up and bring her out too!

    I'd be able to do saturday but I wouldn't be able to make it til' after 2pm. I have class.
    + I'm thinkin' waiting til' later in the day might give us more options as far as sun light. DI pm'd

    This sat will be for Ren only and we will be doing a lot of travelling to find the best locations.

    Yes that is true, the last two hours of the day with cloud cover is ideal, if no clouds then it needs to be the last 45 mins. With this in mind you can only shoot maybe 3 cars on one day and that is pushing it. Really it needs to be one car but you can squeeze in two. During the day the light is harsh and causes whiteout spots on the car and harsh reflections. If you want to put a big group together then the pics will be good but not the best. I will leave it up to you guys how you want to do it.

    It's Bufords b-day, isn't it?

    Also, this Sat with Ren is a private shoot! Maybe GA_Teg can stop by the meet Buford is putting on and snap some shots there (I'm hoping to stop by perhaps).

    It's supposed to start around 4 so that would give us time to set the cars up for pics on the spot maybe?
