Were we planning on doing a few lead/follow laps in the morning before the first group session? Like with all the cars, just at a low speed so that everyone gets use to the course and track conditions or are we just going to start our individual group sessions after the driver meeting?

I think a couple lead / follow laps would be an excellent idea. Especially for the newer people, they can get their feet wet at low speed and get an idea for driving line, etc.

Also, I will PM everyone going in this thread my cell number a little later tonight.

also.... i think we should have listened to weather.com lol not accuweather....

bc accuweather changed to from sunny to cloudy to spotty showers lol.. so i hope it holds up and doesnt' rain

... weather.com says t -storms..

but if you look at percentages, it says 20 percent or less, even on msnweather. I think we are fine, we might see a little wetness in the morning but it should clear up.

The AWD guys should go out first to dry things out lol

lol ite.. i'll try to get the final groups up here today so that way we know what order etc.. ! i think we'll be good as well.. i just have really sorry tires on the car they are horrible in the rain... and not so good when dry lol... but i wanted to burn them off before getting a new set.... can't wait... !!!

Turns out I have a friend that wants to come watch/shoot some video and pics. Just out of curiousity, would anyone be nice and lend him a helmet for a run or two when I drive so he can ride along with me? I have a balaclava he can wear so it won't get your helmet dirty and I'll return the favor by giving a ride in my car too. See you guys tomorrow!

Thanks for all those concerned about my car. It was sad that I had to quit early but better safe than sorry. I'm taking the car in monday to find out what the error message is all about. Will post links to video and pics when I get a bit of time. Great meeting all of you. Had a great time.

So car is fine! Apparently, the car ran a bit lean at ignition which caused the funny idling and than it ran too rich which tripped to sensor. Sensitive! Love the car, hate the electronics. Well that gave me a scare. Will be posting videos and pics on here soon.

they cant start any earlier because of the noise ordanace.
