any info on the route? eta or time that that we will be leaving? links to the placeswe will be staying? exact pricing? planned things or events to do while we're there..the idea is good..no doubt...even with the trip being months away...alot of planning still needs to be done..more details are definatly needed..bit events are great..but lack of organizing can screw lots of things up

Your right ok i will find the best route and can you do the honor of finding a place to stay. We are probably going to need about 3 hotels with average prices that will fit everyone's needs because some people want afforable hotels others want to be on the beach, so can you find some places in between.

im actually trying to finds spots that are closest to the beach as possible
all these locations are for 1 room with 2 queen size beds

Ocean Reef Resort - $ 39
Long Bay Resort - $33
Grande Shores Ocean Resorts - $43
those are rates givin to me..for per night if im correct, im pretty sure if we book in advance for a bunch of rooms we can most likely get a big group discount

check out the scene have some fun wit the cars

around june there having a drift even and car show around that time i think.it would be good if we sched. the trip for them.and give us somethin to do out there ya know ?im gonna look into that some more and see what events are goin on..im just making suggestions..lemmeknow if anyone has any idea or some input

Sweet man i knew i could count on ya. Do you have the address to those hotels and where they actually are in MB.

Plus everybody who is going needs to list their location so we can set up meeting points for the trip. If we do it right we will basically have checkpoints where one groups meets another until it becomes one large group the first group willl leave from the south and work our way up. Does that sound fine???

i think i might end up renting a 3 bedroom condo which can sleep 8 ppl..its 10 for added ppl
with a balcony and ocean view for 480.. which is 60 per person for 2 1/2 days...with a beeach vieww.. me and my crew will prolly do that...

• <LI class=text>Sun Fun Festival - held during the first week of June, this festival has a number of lively events including a sand castle competition, live music concerts, beach sports competitions, Miss Sun Fun USA pageant, air show, fun run and parade among a number of other attractions.
• Summerfest - early June to early September, Barefoot landing comes alive every Monday and Saturday night when the boardwalk fills with vendors and entertainers, with the evening culminating in a firework display.
• But the best thing I have found is on June 6th Myrtle Beach Speedway will have round 4 of their championship drifting event

Ok so what I am thinking is that we leave on the 3rd(thursday) or the 4th(Friday) and stay till the 6th

All of these events are taking place inthe same weekend, so i figure we go from top to bottom in the list of event


Friday, the concert has some dj's from atlanta that will be playing there and they will host a street dance. And we can compete in the sand castle contest too lol or at least watch.....

Saturday, they will have artist playing and a fireworks display with some people giving out free food
And Sunday we can go to the Speedway to watch the drift Events


So watcha think all of these event are very close to the resorts/hotels listed the only thing that far is the speedway and its only 15mins. away!!!
