    Only men eat steak, drink beer, and watch football. I'm a girl.

    Athens crew which race car should I get...SCCA prod MR2 or SCCA IT Civic?

    MR2 is VERY race car, I have to make blinkers for it, lights, etc.

    Civic is race car, has lights and blinkers but still no windows, full cage, totally impractical.

    Civic cheaper to run, MR2 not costly just more than a Civic. RWD and FWD doesn't matter it's a race car.

    OH and the MR2 needs quite a bit of cage reduction to even put a passenger seat in.

    I'm leaning towards the MR2. Sounds like a better platform overall. Fuck passenger seats. Your woman can sit in the floor and suck your dick while you drive.

    LOL there is no room to sit on the floor. Bars everywhere and a fire system LOL.

    Pretty sure I'll be pulled over every 10 miles.

    BTW The Civic has a built motor, the MR2 I am not sure, but I know they're not very competitive even when built.

    I say Civic. MR2's are not competitive and a pain in the ass to work on. Wouldn't even consider unless I was planning to throw it away the first time it has engine trouble.

    The MR2 is the first gen, stock motor DOHC whatever they came with, no forced induction, will not ever have FI lol, A. it'd be in an even faster cass B. $$.

    They are a pain to work on as is almost every mid engine car. 914 was terrifying.

    I just got back from downtown, it's a MAD HOUSE.

    I'd so take the Mazdaspeed 3 over an EVO any day! 155mph in a hot hatch! Sounds fun to me lol.

    Seriously... Brand new, yes the Mazdaspeed 3 is a hellva car for the price. Used... Meh. Asking too much ATM. You'd rather have over-powered FWD car that limits power in the first two gears than a all-wheel drive car that has been granted powers by God himself?

    Stock EVO > average guy's driving ability.
