Thanks for the info. I think we are going to North Ga for Halloween so that may be pushing it to make it.

I'm not 100% on-board at this time. I've made no changes to the car but I do have fresh Lensos and slicks. I'm in Nashville right now and am gonna hit the North Nashville meet (weather permitting). If I hit Montg it will be a hop from TN to there early Sat morning... so I may back out. But if I do roll out, I'll be @ Embassy Suites w/ a few honey's.... hmmm... :idb: (i wish)

Enjoy it while you can. The free entry voucher has become too much of a hassle for IFO staff to deal with. We're tired of ungrateful jerks that complaint about not getting free entry, especially when they're not even close to being 200+ miles away. We've even had emails from contestants saying they will "boycott" the series just because their free entry was denied! We're tired of being called up to the front gate at events because contestants think they can just show up to receive free entry without pre-registering. We're tired of locals using their Mexico or some other far off place ID just to gain free entry when they live 5 miles from the track. /rant

it sucks to hear that people are trying to abuse you cliff. i know that i appreciate you giving free entry to people that travel long distances as every time i attend a IFO event it is about 250 miles with the exception of gainesville. unfotunately like u say it is difficult to confirm where people are coming from. too bad u couldnt just have people bring a current months electric bill or smoethin with their name on it that matches their drivers liscence. i know that for me being in the military i have tried to make sure you guys know where i live when i submit my free voucher due to the fact that my liscence is from seattle washington, but i live in valdosta, georgia. sad to see it go if it does, but again i appreciate the time u take to help out the people driving from long distances. i will still support and attend IFO no matter what. IFO and cliff FTW

cliff, maybe you can keep it for the repeat and easy to work with racers like me!

if they want to boycott a race for 25$ because they didnt follow the rules then they probably wouldn't go anyways later on...experience tells me that people can bitch all they want but they always come back because theres no where else to go.

I had to drive 140 some odd miles to go to commerce, i knew the rules, i didn't even try. lol

I hope there is a way to keep it, i was planning on some more racing next year like gainesville and one or two of the Louisiana races....etc.

    lmao, awesome.

Actually, we used to allow all girls wearing bikini tops in for free at the summer shows, but only the meh girls would do it, hot girls would stay covered up.

That is a pretty cool perk that IFO offers. I hope you guys keep it for cooperative racers like Spoolin said. I'm only 130 mile from Montgomery, but I was able to take advantage at 2 Gainesville races this year. We've decided just to drive in on Sunday morning. See you guys there!

Thanks for taking care of us the times we went to Alabama. It sucks that a few will ruin it for everyone.

All the big dogs broke in qualifying. GAStroker broke most of his driveline parts. The white DSM w/ the S on the hood broke some driveline parts also. There was an orange 280Z that was running high 9s and a 2JZ-GE powered 240SX running mid 10s. Those were the only 2 rear wheel drive cars running low digits. Spoolin ran a 10.35 but other than that I didn't see anything really impressive. They had a red EVO on Hoosiers running low 11s but I think it was his 1st time out and he was more learning the car than anything.

Chris w/ the green S14 240 w/ the 2JZ-GTE swap ran low 11s on drag radials and there was a red MKIV Supra Auto running 12s. Plus the 240 I stated earlier w/ the boosted non turbo 2JZ-GE running 10s. Those were the only Supras or Supra powered cars that I saw running. There were a couple in the parking lot that looked nice but they didn't run. I was pretty disappointed w/ the racer turnout also. Second race in a row. But I'll keep supporting all the events I can!! The more events, the more people will build and come out and race!! I think the economy hurt a lot of racers and people took some time off from building race cars or even attending events to get their finances and family in order. But once the economy picks up I think Import drag racing will also. Hell all types of racing will probably improve.
    Quality Perfomance and Fabrication!!
