My first guest would be the bank. They're certainly not out here still. Yet Import Atlanta is still right here. IA is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For people like us to get on whenever we want to, for free, to post and connect. I would say let's go to MSN's site and talk about this...but we can't. They're gone. It's a loyalty thing as well, man.

I didnt even go to TFS!But I would not go back to a MSN event, and there was no influence involved. I always felt like it wasnt for the car enthusiast. It always came down to the money, with every booth in that show. Personally there are some people who like to go show a car and chat with other car enthusiast and not have to worry about burning a hole in their pocket.

I would go rain or shin I'm always at a meet or show. 1st hin left Atlanta now nopi nationals and they replace it with msn crap event where no one comes like nopi use to be where the parking n the grass the traffic jams with tuners every where parties meets that was nopi new people all over USA. To me msn was lame. And when u add 18wheelers as show cars/trucks I draw the line . I thank importatlanta and nos and nopi for the show should have been 2days. It was fun......... Thanks guys... I enjoyed TFS more than I did last years MSN event , but I miss the old Nopi Nats show, where it was jam packed in the speedway. Me and my friends looked forward to the show , it was a time to get smamered and walk around in the hot ass sun and check out cars , then after that would head back to the hotel and get tore up . It was always a blast

someone mentioned some of the old events here...
HIN came here but picked some wrong venues and due to $$$ Atlanta was just too expensive to support their event at the time. I haven't talked to the guys there in a while but that was the problem when they were here. Atlanta venues are just too costly and getting Atlanta Scene to support events like that has been difficult.
NOPI is a whole other issue... lots of people got burned by them last year. It is unfortunate for everyone involved that this happened b/c NOPI Nats like it or not was a staple in Atlanta Automotive History. It will be very difficult to get that going again but I think it could be done if NOPI rebuids those burned bridges. Obviously their help with us was difficult for us to take on as we have people on both sides w/ different opinions on this but Mark helped us out quite a bit this year and for that I appreciate it.
There are been many events come and go in Atlanta, and I like supporting locals and large events that support forums like ours. Enthusiasts are who've built this scene and we will ALWAYS control it.
