    Default Bi-Weekly Meet in Kennesaw

    Hey everyone, getting a meet going every other Thursday here in Kennesaw. Not sure if I'm allowed to name the place or not, so until I know if I can I'll just leave the name out. I happen to know the owner if this place, where they have a weekly sport bike meet that has a pretty good turn out. I asked him if he'd be willing to allow a car meet as well, and he was all for it. On with the details.

    It's in a shopping strip on George Busbee Parkway (the road right next to the Barrett Starbucks everyone goes to). If you turn onto Busbee from Barrett, make a left at the first light you come to, and that's the shopping strip. Looking to start it at 7:30 pm, every other Thursday, with the first one being Sept. 10th.

    This place has plenty of parking and good food for those who want to eat or snack as well. For those who drink, there's an excellent selection of beer and a full bar.

    I know I'm a new guy around here, but I figured I'd try to improve on the scene since I had a place we could have an enjoyable meet with no cop harassment. Who's in?

    you know im down, i have also been to this place and has good food, and service also post up the address for those who dont live off barrett but want to show (the address is allowed, just not the name)

    Sounds like a good idea! I am usually not down there Thursdays, but I will do my best. Also consider having it on an earlier time on Friday. Then, there could be a roll out a mile away to the Starbucks meet?

    not even a mile away, its walking distance. When you pull out of starbucks that first light you hit, you take a right there then its about 300 feet on you're left.

    Very true, it'd be like walking from the back of the parking lot into the V itself. We'll see how this one grows, after a while folks may decide to migrate over there on fridays anyway just to get away from hearing cops on loudspeakers at 11 pm.

    well it gives the people that are busy with either school, work, kids, etc. a chance to come out meet new people and enjoy the scene with out the worry of some dumbass cops on power trips. Some can only make it out wed, some can only thursdays, and some can only on fri. and sat. And its not like people have to come out, if you dont want to come out then dont, its simple.

    Exactly. I don't always make it out to the Starbucks meet, but my Thursdays are usually much more open. Just trying to help the cause of the scene.
