12K, and you are still NA? Did you go BB? If not, what the hell did you spend that much on? Obviously not the exterior. From your comments, not the interior either. For 12K, you could have dropped in a 04 Terminator setup complete with tranny - including the labor. A friend of mine sold his complete setup out of his wrecked Terminator for $8K awhile back, so you would have had $4K for support fuel mods, and installation. That was 650rwhp. Tell me that you at least have over 600rwhp for that kind of money.
If not, someone raped you really bad with no vaseline.
Could have. But we arent talking 12k in one go. If that was true, then yes you would be right the car would be making serious numbers. But remember 12 is from front of the motor to the back. Theres probably $1500 in the tranny. Rebuilt short block - $6500, full exhaust $1200. Ported intake manifold $1000 and then misc bolt on's. Would be just over 11k. But my route was mid 400's NA. only thing i am short of that goal is heads/cams/fuel system!

Also if you managed 600 at the crank with a termi swap into a mustang for 12k you would be a record holder. Even a Steg. 5 eaton could not obtain those numbers!

You still have heads, cam, and fuel to go? You got raped. Simple as that.

I don't know how much he put in it, but I know what I could have bought it for. For $12K, I could have put the whole Termi setup in the car. There are always deals like that.

If you are only at 315rwhp, you should have gotten a "cheap" SC and been done with it. Vortech for your car - $6350 (full price), 480hp, 420tq

Like I said you would be right. But when 3 main bearings go...kinda forces you down another path. I was actually talking with a guy from Texas about buying his eaton swap the week my bottom end went! Hinse why I dont make the power to the money I should!

I suggest that you save up, and buy a wrecked Termi engine/blower complete when one comes up. It would be much more affordable in the long run.

Either that, or leave yours where it is now, and get a turbo foxbody to go in the garage next to it. I see SC ones for under 10K all the time.

My god I knew there was a reason I always liked you. My car is going to a new home tomorrow. You've actually already hit the nail on the head with the next car! I am tired of mod motors!
