    Default Smyrna meets - any interest this year?

    This is something we did for a while last summer and think its time to try again. This would be a good alternative to the Barrett meets and it is in a spot that should be easily accessible to most people around Cobb.

    If this is going to happen, we CANNOT have bad behavior aka burnouts, showing off, trying to drift, or general automotive misbehavior. We had no trouble with police or even security guards last year and we should have no trouble this year either if everyone can control themselves.

    First meet is May 2nd at 8pm.

    If there is enough interest, this is the location. The address is for Sports Authority, but we should use the old Circuit City parking area since there will be nobody there.

    I have at least a dozen people interested in coming. I'm going to post this on mx5atlanta as well to see if there are any Miata people around Cobb interested in coming to the meet.

    Would you guys rather have it on Friday or Saturday nights?

    Yes, this is still going on as long as people are interested in coming. I don't think everyone is as talkative in this thread as they are in the other meet threads, but I imagine if it turns out well the first couple of meets that it will pick up.

    There are a lot of people around Austell/Mableton. If you go west a little out to Douglasville, they have decent meets out there too. I think we will see if people will come next time. If people actually remember then we will see about having another meet.

    Aye homie, I think it'd help if you PM'd the people that say they will participate in your meet, when the time comes near. I live in Marietta so there is no reason I wouldn't come unless it really conflicts with something but yeah lets set up another one & make it more known this time.
