Their website says nothing about bikes, and doesn't allow any V8s.

V8's are always welcome to enjoy test and tune, but there is no class setup for them in competition. There really is nowhere for them to fit in. There is plenty of love for domestics at this event; there were a couple of grand nationals that attended a couple years back that were very consistent competing in showdown. Test and tune is great for someone dialing there car in since you can get plenty of runs in. I don't understand why anyone would have anything to say about your exhaust since everything goes for test and tune.

    Import Showdown is May 3rd

Auto or manual does not matter. V8's can participate in the TNT.

there's plenty of places for a domestic v8 powered vehicle to race at the 400 other domestic drag races around the area each year besides the little ole 4 or 5 we get per year.

WTF i just realized there is not a "modified street" class. That class matched up with what 90% of honda and fwd drag cars are built for. That class was going to be big this year i can tell you that. Now we get to be stuck with a bunch of grand nationals and shit running deep 9's and high 8's. YAY for ruining what was the start of a great class.

yep hot class no doubt, they dropped the ball to quick on that. having an AWD class seperate from RWD is kinda silly seeing as no one else does that and AWD and RWD have pretty much the same amount of bite on the ground.

If i wanted to get my ass handed to me by consistently LOW 9 sec cars i would have just skipped ISD and went to BOTI in orlando today, and got it handed to me by all FWD cars.

After the last ISD it left a sour taste in my mouth. So this doesnt suprise me. I mean come on tehy let a 8sec supra run with no safety equipment at all. And everyone is proud of it. Kinda funny too me...

But o well its a NHRA track.IF they let it go on why not!

yep, this weather has screwed my test n tune up leading to this event, if i dial it in i might have a chance at a semi placement. Just going because i want to run it. Ill be running 10z or maybe a 9 and ill be legal to do it minus a piece of paper that says i made 6 passes that cost more money than a race anyways.
