Default OLD SCHOOL JAPANESE CAR MEET!!!

Time to get this fired up again.

    Saturday March 7, 2009.
    Mary Alice Park Cumming, GA
    12:00pm

Let's pick this up where we left off last year. We have big things going on this year and we should start this off quite nicely with this meet.

Remember, Japanese cars from 1985 and older meet the requirements.

Does not have to look good at all. If it runs, bring it. We usually end up with around 60 cars at these some come on out.

You don't have to have an old school car to come out and chill. You just can't park with us, lolol. Seriously though, come on out. Later, QD.

They are to you cuz u probably dont even know how to change your oil on your car, while most of the people who own an oldskool ride apreciated and love it cuz their the ones who keep it on the road by spending time an money fixing the things that go wrong with it, becaus these cars dont have an idiot light that says "check engine" oldskool is where you really have to know your shit to be able to fix them, let alone own one, so we dont need any ignorant retards at these meets anyways.

QD was just being a smartazz. Go out and have some fun man... Most of these guys are really good people and you will have a blast. The pictures from the last event were very impressive.

What kinda car do you have?

I have an 88 ef. I think of it as old skool as it qualifies as a classic car. My car is 21yrs old!!! Thats older than some people on this forum! You guys should change the rules to include what everyone else including Hagerty considers to be classic (old skool if you want to be trendy). 89 and older. If you do you will have a much better turnout than the last meet even though it was still nice.

He is more than welcome to stop by. Everyone is. But 1988 is out of the old school classification as far as the old school events.

We're not trying to follow Haggerty's. We're already using the template of an established Japanese Classic Show. Which will probably not include anything after 1985 for quite a long time. 1989 is hardly considered classic in most any circle. Not trying to be a smartass or anything, but you can always make your own meet to how you want it instead of trying to change the rules on something that you don't like. Later, QD.

I need to find the crappiest, shittiest rat filled rusty version of this so I can have an old skool car to bring to your event. 84 civic wagon ftw!

It's funny how people get so uptight because they feel like they've been excluded from some secret club. It's not really that big of a deal, man. Later, QD.

It actually falls within the specs. If the body model came out on or before 1985 but carried into later years, it is included. Your car's model came out in 1985 and ran through 1988. So you're good. Later, QD.

actually, if this is the rule does my car count as oldschool? the first e30s came out in 84... they had different heads, bumpers, valences, and the rear wheel arches were higher, but its STILL an e30. lol
