Ok, who here is good with Photoshop. I mean really freaking good. My magic stops in making color parts in B&W photos. Anyway.....
If I give someone (if anyone can do this) high res pics of my car, can you change the paint color for me? I am trying to decide if painting the hood and decklid black will look good, bad, or rice. I've posed the question to everyone over at mazdaspeed, and it's split down the middle. Some say do it, other say it will just look bad. Short of buying half a gallon of the wash off paint and just doing it until the next rain, I figure this will be easier, and cheaper.
So, who can do it?

Painting the hood and decklid will look like a complete ass. Not part of one or just one cheek or even a wrinkle at the bottom of an oversized ass. It will look like the entire ass. See, the wifey thinks it will look good, and I can see where she would think that. Shiny black hard top (in winter of course), shiny black hood, and shiny black trunk. If I did do it though, I would be locked into painting the windshield frame, and that little strip between the rear window and the deck lid. Which means dropping off the car at a paint shop, not just the three parts in question.
I could see that looking nice on some cars, maybe even if the MSM was red. Who knows, maybe I will see one and say "DAMN! (in a good tone)" or I might say "DAAAAMN!!! (with disgust). Either way, photoshop is cheaper than wash off paint, which is cheaper than regret.
