i had that happen to my civic before. everytime id get on the gas too hard it would sound like a freakin subie. my problem was mositure had worked its way into my distributor cap. so i just dried it out and cleaned it up with wd40.

idk why you'd clean it with WD40. i would've just used a small wire brush on the terminals.

because wd40 is a water displacer. hence the, WD.lol
