Old school is anything from a past era that is held in high regards, and that includes all of the 90's so come on, show these wanabe old schoolers whos right. go to the old school rides section and tell the true definition ,
I dont care if they try to get me kicked off the board if they allow jerks like this on the board who needs IA. I will start my own fourm for all cars and have all car classes and the true deffinitions of all classes.
I don't think anyone in here cares whether someone calls their Integra "old school" or not. These are 2nd gens. Now if the argument was over which was the hottest Integra ever made, that would be another story.Originally Posted by impreza_rsk

The DA created such an impact that we have our own section.Seriously, they pretty much set a standard for automotive styling and features for over a decade that is just now beginning to change... 15 years after the last DA was sold off the lot. They didn't even really change the base engine until 2002. So, they are as old school as any other car over the past 15 years that doesn't have a navigation system, rear camera, paddle shifters, heated seats, and automated parallel parking. To properly classify them, they were the beginning of the golden era of Honda. The main thing is they were at the very beginning of the Honda tuning craze and mostly missed out on the larger variety of parts that were made for the newer ones (though they do get lucky on many engine and suspension parts being interchangeable from the newer models). So, it is the old one that all too often gets over looked for aftermarket parts, and though it has some "old school" history in the tuning markets, it does not fall in with all of the old schoolness in the new old school section on here. Old school is arguable on the 1st gen, since it was made in 1985 in Japan, but that's a whole different argument that now only 1 person I know on here can make (and finding the almost nonexistent aftermarket parts for it is ridiculous).
Was the Impreza that far behind the DA?
wow what an explanation...![]()
